I worked with Amelia on one of the Rock for MS fundraisers.
I LOVE your writing – it’s very direct and conversational.

Michelle… great to connect and love your writing and the stories. Did Jim send you those pix we all did in L.A. back in the day?
    Best,

      Hey Jim!
Yes, Jim gave me a few prints of a portrait that you had taken with that signature key light halo effect, so glam!
My dad has one, in fact, but I know there were other shots of us, with Bruce Talamon, Jim and I, etc., which I don’t think I can lay my hands on.
In other news, I’m looking at your horizontal closed crop portrait shot of Jim with the Leica pin and his leather aviator jacket and your classic shot of Marvin Gaye on our wall right now…
I’ve always loved the way the two prints mirror each other.
Thanks for digging the blog, it’s great fun and the chance to help keep Jim’s legacy going is such a truly wonderful thing to be doing.

Michelle, thanks. Been some time since I looked again at the blog. Jim would always say when asked if he had any Marvin, “call Jim Britt!” He was a very kind and generous guy : ) True… just had to get past the facade and he had no time for bullshit. : )
